Draft posts
Written by Kate Petersen on April 28, 2008 – 7:50 am -Quick administrative note for those who may not be familiar with WordPress:
If you write a diary, the system automatically saves your draft at regular intervals. Or you can save it as a draft by clicking either the “save” button (returns you to the dashboard) or the “save and continue editing” button (keeps you on the writing page).
Once you are done with your diary and want it to be visible to everyone, you must click the “Publish” button. Drafts remain stored by the system unless you delete them.

Yeah, but if Wordpress is not co-operating in posting a diary, how do I get help? It was easy hard at DKos, here it seems to be hard hard to figure out formatting and linking. BTW, I’m in Safari on a Mac with TextEdit and Photobucket. See, when I look at this comment in preview, a slash is before each ‘ and “, for starters.
I’m not sure about Safari but will find out for you. You can always email me: kate@politicook.net if you are having trouble. If you’re relatively geeky, there’s a WordPress support forum as well… but I will do my best to help you here.
Ignore the slash before the apostrophe in preview, by the way. It has to be there when the comment is stored in the database, but the preview shouldn’t show it. I’ll investigate.
Thanks, I’m going to email you with some questions.
