AAF - if I recall, what with the beauty of the Dingle peninsula and the volume of tourists you get, you won’t get a break until perhaps….November?
In the meantime, think of all the lovely salads, pizzas and wines you’ll serve to all those hungry and thirsty tourists.
I just wish I were among the throng visiting you in Eire this summer!
I sold a house just before the housing market went south last year. I was really lucky. I hope you are too in buying one this year. I’ll be sending you good thoughts as I’m flying over your place. (Going to Houston tomorrow)
They’ve already dropped the price by $20,000. I’d hoped to pick one up for even cheaper, but it has so many of the improvements I’d want to make anyway (tornado shelter, nice metal roof, good privacy fence, new windows, etc.) - plus it comes with a warranty. The inside is a disaster, but it’s the bones that count!
I have to go lay down now - the excitement is killing me!
I would say you are right. You really know that you want to make the inside your own anyway and if the bones are strong and to your liking…full steam ahead! The warranty is very much a plus for you.
After weeks of chilly rain, the sun has come out with a vengeance today in the PNW, and when I got home from work I espied a little green thing sticking up above surface in my spud container. I am so excited!
A beautiful spring day here, sun & bees aflutter. All I need is a break.

I’m making an offer on a house tomorrow. It took me two hours (very resistant, you know), but I just deposited the earnest money in my bank account.
::gulp::
Great news! Good luck.
::whimper::
