I’ve spent the afternoon clearing stuff off my hard drive. I was revising a graphic for a client and couldn’t save the thing — my 60GB drive was completely full. Ack!
I spent part of the day at the veterinarian’s office – little Dolly’s demodex mange has recurred since she was boarded while I was on vacation…poor little doggie!
We will be giving her dips for the next 3-4 weeks, but if the mange keeps recurring, we’ll have to put her on daily ivermectin.
She was NOT a happy camper after her vet visit. It took several little treats to get her out of her sulks.
Mostly gardened this afternoon, got lots more purple peas and lima beans planted, and started the final series in cups. Watered the seedlings, and noticed blooms on tomatoes, squash, and peppers.
Talked with Mrs. Translator, she and the boys are doing well. School is out for the summer for her, so she can relax for a bit at least. Warmest regards, Doc.
We have had my daughter and future S-I-L here all last week. We went to the Olympics, Hoh Rain Forest and the Pacific Beaches. Saw some awesome tidal pools, water falls and stalked the wild Seattle iconoclasts.
Ferries and Mt Rainier were a little more illusive. I missed you guys!
I got to go with my daughter to a wedding store and see her in the wedding gown she is looking at getting. I want to make her veil out of the tulle from my old wedding veil and she thinks that is a good idea. I am thrilled. Her man is a really good man and one any one of you would want for a son-in-law.
Dogs, daughters, SIL, it’s all relevant….

Friday: tax day! I had to wallow in a pile of invoices and calculate how much I owe the government, not my preferred stance!
To quote biscuit, errgh.

We had a dog with sarcoptic mange, and it was not a picnic either. I hope that your friend recovers soon. Warmest regards, Doc.
