There is a substance in grapefruit juice (can not come up with it off the top of my head at the moment) that inhibits liver enzymes from metabolizing drugs. Ask your physician if you can stagger your medication with grapefruit. Maybe you can. I am not a physician, but I do implore you to talk to one who understands about which we speak. Funny thing, I have lots fewer seizures now... it now takes HEAVY stress to send me over, but, I SO MISS GRAPEFRUIT. I used to eat two every morning, juice all the time. <i>sigh...
