Cute, should I post my deer? Where is that from? Your yard?
That’s the &^%% buck who lived in my hollow a year or so ago.
I could barely go into my front yard area, thanks to him. I’d be out there, minding my own business, and here he’d come, jumping the fence and running right in front of me like he owned the place.
$#@@%
Oh and, yes, post your deer pics! This is, after all, a gratuitous critter pic thread!
If I knew how to do that, I’d be a genius! This Word Press has me flummoxed! It likes some stuff and not other stuff.
My deer is almost as cute as the squirrel that climbed up the door screen to get a peanut this morning!
I’ll eventually figure it out!
Ooooh, those squirrels. They are cute – and they know it.
I have one (a young one) who’s staked out the cardinal feeder and cleans up anything they drop.
He’s my houndie grrl puppy’s nemesis. She’s spends hours glued to the window watching him.
Oh, how cute. Post pics of houndie grrl. She sounds sweet.
Imagine a miniature redbone coonhound, which is what she is — although I’m strongly suspicious that there’s some dachsaund in there somewhere.
I’d post pics of her but my camera went kaput last fall, and I haven’t gotten around to getting another one.
She’s sweet, though. A bit shorter than a full redbone, but pretty tall and very houndy.
Except when that smidgen of dachsaund comes out, at which time it’s VACATE THE PREMISES SHE WANTS SOMETHING!!!
Here’s my deer!
Oh lovely!
And so much more civilized than the deer who rampage through my place, waltzing around and whatnot.
That’s a pretty one.
Deer usually come thru the yard about once a year. This one stayed around a bit. She was so cute, munching on new growth on the shrubs and looking around between bites. They are pretty big a cross between deer and mule deer. We had a young buck thru here last year in velvet!
Weeeellll, it was there for a milisecond and then gone when it fully loaded. It’s too late to think anymore so will try again Sunday. I’ll be away tomorrow a doin’ the heiland fling!
I just pulled it up to edit it, but I have no idea how to.
Kate! Kate, where are you!!!
You rang?
Yes.
Fortunately, I was within earshot!
Thank you, blog editing goddess…..namaste!
