Actually, it hasn’t been that bad today. I just didn’t want to post the Lizard twice in a row. :p

Today was co-op day, so I was out and dealing with people for several hours. There were some website issues this morning that I had to deal with.

However, I have fresh corn on the grill as we speak. Tomatoes. White peaches. Plenty of salad fixin’s if that’s not enough. Does it get any better than this?

I want to eat dinner at Kate’s House! I didn’t have the energy to go to the grocery store today, so it looks like a pasta-with-cherry tomatoes-and-basil night tonight.
Come to think of it - that ain’t so bad! It gives me an excuse to go roll around in the basil!

Y’all sound like you are having great dinners.
Drchelo, I made some sauteed potatoes last night with rosemary from the garden and almost went headlong into the plants it smelled so good. I know what you mean about basil. I love basil, rosemary oregano and mint they are all the best for cooking.
Essential oils of eucalyptus, tea tree, lavender, citrus oils, and peppermint for the skin and the head to calm and center. Oh, see if you can find NAG CHAMPA massage oil. It’s really wonderful on the skin.
We’re having pinto beans, sliced tomatoes, scallions and the best corn bread sticks around.
My sweetie’s grandmother made cornbread in her mother’s cornbread stick cast iron pan. We have it now and it is beautiful, well seasoned and makes the best cornbread sticks I’ve ever eaten.
It’s a little hot here. but the cornbread is a must.

That does not appear to be a very happy pootie. Hopefully just recovering from a bath. When my dad was a boy, it was great sport to splay them with kerosene and watch them wretch. What cruel bastards! Akin to inserting firecrackers into frogs (more likely, toads, since W likely would not wade out into muddy waters after dark to catch frogs), just sick.

Sorry, that brought back memories. I am sure that this is just a sort of aggravated kitty. Warmest regards, Doc.

It was just aggravated. I borrowed the pic from a guy who had just given the kitty a bath, so no cruelty involved.

I thought so. Some, after a while, actually like to be bathed. They do not like harsh detergents, however. Just skin temperature water, with a bit of real (Ivory) soap, will not hurt them.

Toweling them off does not hurt, though. My cat, when I was little, finally enjoyed it. She liked to be vacuumed, too, as a longhaired cat I guess she found it liberating. She, after many years, would run when she heard the vacuum cleaner start.

But, towards is. She liked having the loose hair there rather in in her digestive system. Cats are pretty smart if folks would take the time to do some communication. Warmest regards, Doc.
