Last time was fun for me, and I hope the readers as well. We will try another episode, to see if this is viable.
Please consider this as an open thread for any and all questions related to science and technology. If I do not know an answer, I will say so and ask others in the community with expertise to reply.
As usual, I am dancing naked, and will not look up anything on Wikipedia or in reference books except for the times when some numbers are required, such as the heat of formation of items. Unfortunately, I can not keep all of those figures in my head.

Is it true that tree frogs have a natural anti-freeze type substance that allows them to be frozen solid, then thawed with little to no wear and tear?
Oh, and why can’t you use shampoo in the washing machine or dishwashing soap in the dishwasher?
It has to do with foam. Washing you hands with soap of dishwashing detergent is fine, but if you put those into a washing machine of a dishwasher, the foam generated would flood out of the top or the side.
The detergents designed for them have minimal foam, and so behave well under agitation, and still clean well because of the agitation in the washer jets of hot water in the dishwasher. Warmest regards, Doc.
Foam? I figured it was some secret about the biochemical nature of the substances being cleaned or something.
I am not sure about the exact species that you reference, but some animals do that very thing. If you have more information, I can be more specific. Warmest regards, Doc.
