Dr. Franklin needs to Speak to-night

The Doctor has taken me in his fine Machine, the TARDIS, to the date of 03 November, 2008 (your Calendar is different from mine by a few Weeks).

The Things that I see are of great Remark. My most heart-held Desires have been fulfilled.

This Doctor has quite a Machine, but that is besides the Point. He took me to a Place that, never in my Imagination, could I have believed.

The United States is on the Edge of the Election of a Man who has root from Africa. I argued with Adams, Jefferson, Washington, and every member of the Constitutionial Convention for days about allowing the Negroes to be Free Citizens. My arguments failed. I did get a bit of a victory in that there were allowed Three Fifths of Personhood, but that Victory was used in a twisted Manner to give even more Influence to the Planters, who depend of the labour of Slaves to make their Fortunes.

This is a Thing that is wrong.

I made a Mistake, and I have much Regret for it.

But, now, I can see that the Situation is more as I would have had it in my Imagination. I am have much Gratitude to The Doctor for allowing me this View to the Future to our Nation. I feel somewhat positive that it may be well yet.

On the other Hand, The Doctor took me to another Time, with Names of Nixon, Reagan, and more than One with the Name of Bush. I can attest that the Gang who wrote the Great Charter would have no Truck with their Nonsense.

The Doctor has told me that we must go back to my Time. I wish you, my fellow citizens, only the best. This is a Nation, and only you can keep it.
