OK, I am frosted with the pardon that Lieberman got, but I expected it. There are, at most, only 100 sitting Senators at a time. That is a pretty small club, and they look out for each other. I expect him not to be a member of the club come 2012, but we will see.
The folks at The American Family Association have been amusing today, to for the mutual entertainment of all of us, I offer these nuggets. As always in this series, the blockquotes are cut and pasted, so that I do not introduce any bias into the way those folks express themselves. I have improved this post by inserting links to specific stories for everyone to verify my observations, but will not give a direct link to their offensive site. These stories are current as of 8:23 PM Eastern. Here we go!
Here is the first story. Usual, insane, Muslim hating stuff. I find the comments amusing. This article was written by Brigitte Gabriel, a vicious anti Muslim woman who claims to be an Arab.
Here are some of the comments:

Like the media looked into Bush? Right.
I’m not at all surprised after the interview with George Stephanopolous where obama referred to his Muslim religion… and George corrected him “You mean your Christian religion”… uh, yeah, my Christian religion….
Transcript, please? No, I did not think so.
Of course they would vote for him. He’s trying to take away First and Second Amendment Rights from Christians and Conservatives and the terroristic Muslims, not all Muslims, see this as a first step to implementing Shar’ia Law here in the U.S.
Uh, can you get Palin to interpret this?
I read Gabriel’s book “Because They Hate which was awesome. I agree with her that we are now in a battle for our country against the infiltration of Islam. Barack has so many close ties with anti-American sentiments that I can guarantee you we are in the last days before the Rapture.
Where does the quote end? Was that the title, completely through … “the Rapture.”? Illiterates.
Another story was interesting. It was:
ORU: Roberts gets $450K…employees get pink slips, and the lone commentor was pretty sane.
We need to clean up the church. We have so many scandals within the church and if that is not bad enough many if not most of them are the leaders of the church. No wonder every one thinks Christians are crazy. We need to start living like we are christians and living for God.
I can not find fault with that comment.
This one is perhaps the best one:
Home-school family harassed by social worker
It is about how the poor home schoolers are persecuted. For the record, all three of our boys learnt more at home than in public school, but they went to public school. We parents have a sacred mission to teach our children. Part of that mission is to integrate them into society.
The comments of this one were great, and here are a few:
Sue them to the fullest extent of the law for the continued bullying and intimidation of parents who want to have their children educated instead of being indoctrinated by a socialist liberal secular humanistic education system. Why are American schools failing in education? … because they spend more time on social engineering than real education.
As I remember from school, commas are a nice device to separate adjectives. But I guess that they are not necessary, unless one wants to write proper English.
The social worker should be fired for what she done.The family should file a law suit against the worker and the company .
Yeah, she done it. Great.
Lawlessness like this government worker displayed is growing ever more prevalent in today’s America. I am growing more and more convinced that the use of life-threatening armed force to defend against uninvited intrusions is the surest way to prevent being victimized as this family has been. The nation has grown to not honor the privacy of another individual’s home. A shooting would awaken many more to the state of affairs than the “legal protests” being pursued will accomplish.
OK, kill folks coming around? Jesus must be pleased.
Most home schooler are getting a better education than the public school provides.Univeristy tests pove this. This social worker should be penalized to the full extent of the law. There is no exuse for these these types of actions.
This might be my favorite. It pretty says much all of it. No doubt this person was home schooled.
Well, just one more story. The War of Christmas continues.
This article tells us about the horrible vendors who say “Happy Season” or some such, and do not say “Fall to your knees for Jesus.”
