Some lovely yarrow early in the spring

Today’s casual reading: This is your brain on bliss and The Hive and the Honeybee.

Today’s primary activities: figuring out the state of the hacking, working on the lovely deconstructed and laundered silk dupioni curtains, and finishing painting the outer alcove of the hallway.

Today’s hopes and dreams: that I be rested enough to undertake Home Maintenance Live-Blogging by Friday.

And repotting ginger plants. I forgot to put that on my to-do list.

Morning post up on NPOV, too.

I’m trying to catch up on some of all the stuff I didn’t finish yesterday… because – um – I spent the day putting up this site for personal photo blogging…

She looks so chic, although perhaps not warmly dressed for the season. It’s hard to see how she is accessorized, but with a dress like that, anything goes!
I think you should write her a letter, Kate – addressed “Dear Mannequin” and ask her opinion about what to wear during the holiday season.

I have a total wild hair today. I am going to make chicken and dressing and gravy.

            omg, that sounds wonderful.

My next experiment will have sweet pots in the dressing. mmmmm, I love my sweet pots.

Or even a hash with diced sweet pots. That sounds even better to me.
